Corundum-mullite bricks are high-alumina refractory products composed of corundum and mullite main crystal phase. Corundum mullite firebricks are made from high purity or purer raw materials.
The refractory bricks made from mullite aggregate have good thermal shock resistance, but slightly poorer erosion resistance, and the firebricks made from corundum sand as aggregate have good corrosion resistance, but slightly poorer thermal shock resistance. So the advantage of Corundum mullite brick is that it has better high-temperature strength, high-temperature creep resistance, thermal shock resistance and erosion resistance.
