Available in straight pipes, elbows, bends, reducers, and custom shapes. ID 25-800mm, lining thickness 3-10mm.

【Product Introduction】

Tynason Alumina Ceramic Lined Wear-Resistant Pipe is a composite pipe consisting of a steel outer shell and a high-alumina ceramic inner lining. The ceramic lining is manufactured from high-purity alumina (Al₂O₃ ≥92% or ≥95%) through high-temperature sintering at up to 1730℃, then bonded or mechanically retained inside the steel pipe to form a smooth, durable wear-resistant surface .

This composite structure combines the toughness and weldability of steel with the extreme hardness and wear resistance of alumina ceramics, delivering superior performance in abrasive and corrosive conveying applications.

【Product Advantages】

  • Extended Service Life: Provides 5-20 times longer wear life compared to ordinary steel, manganese steel, and high-chromium cast iron under similar operating conditions .

  • High Hardness: Ceramic layer hardness reaches Mohs 9, HRA ≥85, and Vickers hardness ≥1200 HV, providing exceptional resistance to particle erosion and sliding abrasion .

  • Chemical Stability: Alumina ceramic is chemically inert, offering excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, and other corrosive media. Acid resistance can reach ≥98% .

  • Temperature Performance: Maximum operating temperature up to 1650℃ (no load) with thermal expansion coefficient of 7.6-8.0×10⁻⁶/℃, suitable for both high-temperature and cryogenic environments.

  • Smooth Flow Surface: Low surface roughness reduces friction resistance and prevents material buildup, ensuring efficient conveying and reduced energy consumption .

  • Easy Installation: Can be connected via welding, flanges, or quick couplings. Lightweight design reduces transportation and installation costs compared to solid alloy pipes .
